Hey Guys :D
I became mapper and now uploaded my first map.
There will be uploaded many other maps, maybe some lil' mappacks, but now I hope you download my first map below and have fun with it :D

Wow, that actually looks fairly decent :D
One thing: Please don't include äüöß etc in file names. Try kuestenplateau.ula or coastplateau.ula ;-)

I miss the artifacts !!
I tried to fix this but the artifacts aren't available ingame !?
A multiplayer map without artifacts is shitty ... what is the problem with the artifacts?

There are two ways for placing items:

Placing them directly:
Image

Place ItemSpawn for randomization:
Image


For ItemSpawn:

Don't forget to set which items your level can have (and how many!):

Now you have some options for an ItemSpawn:
Image

GenerateAlways puts the Item in the "important" list, these items will be generated first. This is only really important if you want "advanced" item generation (but to be safe, you can of course just tick it - it doesn't hurt).

random item does what it says. If you tick this, the ItemSpawn will select a random item from its list to use (otherwise the first one).

Every ItemSpawn has a pool of items that COULD spawn (although not the same item twice on the map AFAIK). random item also automatically adds the level's item pool (screenshot #3) to this item's pool, which means that you can just always check "random item" for your items and they should appear (you don't have to use the "add Item" menu).

Just uploaded a fixed version with functional fish resources and the possibility to get the artifact near startlocation 1 :D

i want to ask you to contact me in xfire or tavern before you start working on this map again, because i wanna give you an updated version (of the map itself and Mirage), which will prevent save/load issues with other paraworld mods (vanilla/boosterpack/seasmod/cep)
same applies if you would like to make a new map using Mirage Leveleditor

As Henry already reported we tested it but it did not load in our newest mirage test build so we couldnt test it. I am looking forward to the fixed one

actually, i made a compatible version of it, and tested it with Anakey and T-Rex, and was quite good, but there are surely some issues to fix, like at hq 1 there are many fruit bushes, but not too much amicable wild animals (only Kentros) to hunt for dr players. At hq 2 there are no fruit bushes at all, and the wild animals (Paras) are babies at the start, which can be solved with adjusting the nest to have advance time (so the first spawned animals will be adults)
not sure about the other start positions (AI played on them) but they may suffer similar problems
the wild Tarbo near to hq 1 is a nice touch, but maybe other big predators could be put to the other bases as well ^^

its also quite big for only 4 players, maybe you should make it a 8 player map, so that 2 player can start at each (current) base, that would allow some cool team-plays :D

I wanted a predator near each of the bases but they were just standing still, the tarbo not.
And this with fruit bushes and only kentros is the way I wanted it. Sorry for the child paras. I didn't know how to fix this ... But I allow you to customize this map for 8 player and so on :D

hmmm...
there was a new friend invite from 'thestig7', but the guy seemed to have connection issues (every time i wrote him something, i got the 'High latency...' error message, and always logged off soon after that
