- Hashkey FAQ -

Post by Triceratops »

The Paraworld hashkey is used for replays and logiles. It prevents that your cd key is being stolen during online play.

Windows XP:

Use this tool for an easy access to Paraworld's settings and to find your hashkey:

http://www.para-welt.com/download_main/ ... ttings.exe

Windows Vista:

With Windows Vista file settings.cgf can be found by entering C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Roaming\SpieleEntwicklungsKombinat\Paraworld in headline of Windows Explorer and pressing Enter. The component AppData redirects you to the adequate folder. Due to that it can not be found among the other folders of your username, so entering the line above is necessary.

Myskulls.com Hashkey FAQ:
The hashkey can be found in the following folder, included in the "Settings.cfg". Open this file with an editor and copy & paste the Hashkey (not the CDKey!)

<System Drive>:\Documents and Settings\<Windows-Username>\Application Data\SpieleEntwicklungskombinat\Paraworld\Settings.cfg

find the value CDKeyHash (not CDKey!) below Root, Globat.

The string with 32 figures is the needed gameaccount.

Advice
If you can't find the folder, you might not be able to view hidden files. You can change this by disabling "Explorer -> Extras -> Folder Options -> View -> Hide System files (recommended).

In Vista, the file Settings.cgf can be found entering C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Roaming\SpieleEntwicklungsKombinat\Paraworld . You have to enter the line because the folder AppData is a shortcut to a seperate folder and therefore not displayed at YOUR_NAME .
