Hi why don't we create a new patch with a new unit perhaps.
Like I should say a spino woth gataling guns on the sides/Dragon Clan/
Or with the Norsemen, the spino like the Triceratops armour.
Maybe not the Dustriders cause theve already got too many animals I should say.

In my part I would perfer it could be with the Dragon Clan.\Of course we can add more dinos then just the Spinosaurus. Like Gigantosaur.. NO WAY TOO STRONG!! :wink: :D

Unfortunately, its not possible to create new units. But the 3 tribes have already enought units i think. :wink:

You can use the spinosaurus, probably not with a mount, but you can control it or attack with

Scrat and Tomeis made a mod for this

I did mod that made produced spino instead of t-rex titan in DR some time ago.

Yes, working. It is simple change of one line and this produce "wild dino" Spino aleady under control of player. Fun (or strange) thing is that need 1,5 place in army controller so you can't produce 4 spino.

If remeber correct this link go to topic about cheat wild dinosaurs, but I can't find this topic after latest changing in forum.
You have enable cheats and select dino and select cheat setowner_1,
but in cheats.txt you have edit in line 1 to 0 to having dino for you- Player 0 in game.
:SetOwner_1:CSrvWrap.GetObjMgr()^.GetObjByName("%SELNAME%")^.SetOwner(1);
to
:SetOwner_1:CSrvWrap.GetObjMgr()^.GetObjByName("%SELNAME%")^.SetOwner(0);

use scrat cheat
open the cheats.txt then replace the line you want with this one:
:Spinosaurus:CSrvWrap.GetObjMgr()^.CreateObj("Spinosaurus",%PLAYERID%,%MOUSE%); :D

Hi all,

Could somebody guide me through the process of getting a controllable Spinosaurus, step by step? What mods do I need and where can I get them? Cheats were mentioned how do I enable them?

Hi Arcodus,welcome ;) As far as I'm informed you install Mirage (www.para-welt.com/funmode) and the mappack (linked there too) and play with SEAS tribe. One of the heroes (Darwin?) can train Dino handlers at level4. This is a SEAS-specific unit which can hunt and tame wild animals

Hi Triceratops(or any other who want to help),

I've got a couple of questions to ask and need your help: yesterday I downloaded the mods and booster packs but I bungled it, and ParaWorld or the mods wouldnt start. So I deleted it all and have downloaded ParaWorld again from GamersGate uk.

1. The first link you posted links to a forum page with the first post headline is INTERNATIONAL BOOSTERPACK 2.0
& COMMUNITY PATCH (for other versions).

Now there is a translated boosterpack at 235 MB, but seeing as my game is downloaded I take it that I have to download further down the page, the International Community Patch v1.0.1 at 15,1 MB. Once I have downloaded this one do I need to download the Translated Boosterpack 2.0 v2.0.1 afterwards?

2. viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1128 first post here says that after the boosterpack I can download mappacks and the SEAS mod in any order, correct?

Sorry, I'm not very good at fiddling with computer files, please help me!

Download International Community Patch v1.0.1 at 15,1 MB, save it on pc and start it with Right-mouse-button -> Run as admin

After the installation you can install the mappack, seasmod and mirage. I recommend to always use Right-mouse-button -> Run as admin

Never install the 200 mb Boosterpack2.0 file on gamersgate version. It would delete the gamersgate executables. All those additional mbytes come with gold edition already. Only use the small patch mentioned above

Thank you Triceratops!

I've downloaded and used International Community Patch v1.0.1.

I have downloaded and used SEAS mod 3.6.2 but I cant select SEAS! I can only choose between the 3 original tribes and random. The strange thing is though the title screen has a SEASMOD box where I can check for updates. The colour Black has been added to the choosable colours in skirmish, that was part of the SEASMOD I think and there are new units in the... "army builder" section.

I've only tried skirmish. Do one have to do something special to unlock them?

Nope :mrgreen: You must select a 'seasmodified' map (marked with #) or the main game's map Coldblooded / Kaltbl├╝tig to play SEAS ;-)

You got the mappack, right?

For your information: You need to run Mirage to catch the Spinos, as Burglars (the animal taming unit) are in Mirage only

Hi again,

Earlier in the thread I read that you can use a cheat to get control of wild dinosaurs: Scrat saying "I mean for every race. If you use this cheat while having selected a wild spinosaurus the spinosaurus will belong to you".

I have a favour to ask yet again: How does one use this cheat? The first link in this tread does not seem to exist any more and the second is in German which I cant read :cry: !

Could somebody please help me with this?

One of the heroes, James Warden when levelled up allows nest and kennels to be built, can this cheat or another one be used to gain control of the nest's/kennel's animals?
