The Pteranodon was a large flying carnivore predominantly found in North America. They lived during the Upper or late Cretaceous period and, with a wingspan of up to 7 m and a weight of just 15 to 17 kg, are the most famous of the pterosaurs. The name Pteranodon means "toothless flyer".

The ornithocheirus was a big pterosaur who lived during Cretaceous whose diet consisted of fish. It had a long disentangled snout stocked with teeth and an osseous crest on the skull. Its wings had a 12 meter scale, and the skull (1,5 meters) measured near half of its body (3,5 meters). Its name means "hand of bird".
