when i install a boosterpack and i open a paraworld he just open a paraworld pictures but in game he doesnt open why??????????? and to boosterpack i must have a new version for paraworld????

Hi Scorpion98, welcome to the forum. Do you use Paraworld DVD? Do you have Windows7? Have you installed this boosterpack with Right-Mouse-Button -> Run as Admin ?

Dinoman, we cannot support illegal versions of Paraworld. I can only give you the tip to buy Paraworld Gold at www.gamersgate.co.uk and in case this is not an option for you... use right-mouse-button -> run as admin whenever you install a patch or mod for Paraworld. Also install Paraworld into x:\paraworld and give this folder full rights (write, delete etc)

I'm having some doubts on how to install the mods and I wonder if you could help me.
I've recently bought the GamerGate's Paraworld Gold Edition, which I've installed in my Win 7 64-bit computer. I played a few skimishes and got bored so I want to try some mods and new maps.

I've read that you need the boosterpack before installing the mods, but in my case with the Gold Edition it isn't necessary. What I need is the community fix, right? If so how do I find it? In one of the threads there's a link to it, but the link is dead.
And I also read that I need a Win7 fix, is it also necessary? I can't seem to find it.

Hi Executr, welcome to our forum and let me help you with this. You are correct, Paraworld Gold already contains the boosterpack (version 1.05 of the game).

The Community Patch/Fix is not needed either but it is recommended because it solves several problems with the official Boosterpack/Gold versions including missing description texts.

If this link is not working it should a problem with your browser settings

There is no need to install the Win7fix afterwards because the Community Patch is not adding .exe files like the Boosterpack2.0 does. Therefore dont install the Win7fix

Now you can download the CEP and Mirage mods and the large mappack from http://www.para-welt.com and install them. The mods will not replace the main game and must be started with their shortcuts from your desktop

Hi. I just downloaded the Boosterpack and installed it (with admin rights) on a fresh installation of Paraworld.

When I click on the Boosterpack shortcut, the Paraworld logo opens (shows version 1.05) but then closes and game doesn't launch.

It is from retail cd with a retail cd-key. (Provided if asked. Game bought in Greece in 2007 if remember correctly.)

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

It works on XP and Vista as well
