Thread for Translated BPs - Dev Section:



;). The official boosterpack had a lot of bugs. The released version was not the final one. We all now this, I just wanted to make you remember. It seems that there are several missing letters (like the O in Giganotosaurus) in the german BP.


The texture of the Giganotosaurus (which is his correct scienctific name) is also called Giganoto an it seems that the avatar image is different.

We will mess things up if we dont do this properly. Please post bugs in short and sensible way. If you are not sure please mark your statement "not sure".

Problem:

H_Animals.seml
in description is
\{img /bunit:giganotosaurus -ralign}
when have to be
\{img /bunit:gigantosaurus -ralign}
to display his avatar in help.
But it is strange that his avatar, when click on dino is displayed, even when in H_Animals.seml is line z O.

With changing maps you need to run mission again, because save keep old version of maps.

1. Mistake with O in line \{img /bunit:gigantosaurus -ralign} is probably in all version LP, I have this in PL, so in other LP there will be too.

2.Yes, need to changed to
\{helpitem -name _avatar Avatar}
\{img /bunit:avatar -ralign}

Delet _ in second line.
With _ avatar of Avatar isn't displayed in Help /like gigantosaurus/

3. I think that post with link to http://www.file-upload.net/download-654 ... e.zip.html and fixpl can be deleted, because you put those in LP 1.3, right?
Or put info that this fix is for LP 1.2.


4. LP UK 1.3
locale\uk\texts\help\H_Animals.seml
Problem:
H_Animals.seml don't have description of Tarbosaurus

LP PL have, somebody must check other LP.


5. LP UK and PL ( other LP probably too)
Rar during unpacking put boosterpack1.info in Paraworld\info
right place is paraworld\Data\Info ( need to manually copy after install LP)

Is the Stone Golem Image in the game?

Data\BoosterPack1\Scripts\Server\setting\campaigns.txt


Do you have already mission 5 done (unlocked) before install BP ?
Could you try to create new account in game and unlock missions(by editing profile_nameuser.cfg) and check if bug with queue will too appear?

And Map Editor problem?

Strange that those Golem have erorr. This need to be correct.
Stone Golems have image (they are in mission from normal game)

Yes, fixs are correct for all version. (Description of tarbo need to be translated to right language)

Yes, fixs are correct for all version. (Description of tarbo need to be translated to right language)
All done, including Tarbo in all 7 packs. 4 have already been uploaded because of the serious problem with file info.

I tried to start editor with new shortcut and it worked very well but Tarbo is still not in nest. :(

Now only Tarbo or Tarbo and rest of new dinos?
Did you have this problem in german version BP+patch1.05?

If you have newest file from LP UK,
Paraworld\Data\leveled\Scripts\objects\ViewObjProperties.usl
(and this don't help)

I still suggest reinstall all game( "fresh" installation), really Scrat try this option, because, files in game probably are mixed up and it is hard to find other file which probably make problem.
Other option is try to edit this file to make new dinos available for all type of terrain.

Locutus put the Tarbosaurus onto the maps in Booster so it should be there... but I'm not sure. See the nest in 4.3.

Scrat have Tarbo in game, but not in editor, this is very strange.

I edited ViewObjProperties.usl

Scrat
copy this file to paraworld\Data\leveled\Scripts\objects
( don't forget to make copy before overwritting)
and run editor. With this you should be able to select Tarbosaurus and Carnotaurus in Nest_Big_Carnivores for all type of terrain.
If not then only way to fix this problem is reinstall all game.



I will upload LP 1.4 PL with fixed all bugs mentioned here,
Do anybody know about any bugs, which are not mentioned here?

no change with selecting new dinos. I think I have to make Tarbosaurs in BP1 folder and put them to Nests, uninstall is no option. Thanks for your help.

One of people from polish forum ( paraworld1.fora.pl ) notice that Ceratosaurus don't have description in help F1.
I checked this and this dino don't exist in game but on animals.jpg (picture with all dinos from boosterpack) it is.
And I checked that ceratosaurus is in All_def.txt, cards_boosterpack01.tga also have textures but don't exist in _TechTree.ttree.
I wonder if is possibly to make Ceratosaurus available in game? I think _TechTree.ttree need to be edited, but I don't know if other files also.
Ceratosaurus from picture looks like should live in Ashvalley.

Looking at textures I saw nor_nothosaurus_a_(0256) other don't existing dino in game. It can also be available in game?

The Ceratosaurus model is missing. :( That's why he is not there.

Could you post a jpg of the texture? There are probably some more textures that were not used for the game but are still in the files.


You already tried to use the siege units? Those you let you walk over walls (if they would be made working).

I wonder if there is way to do something like using model of other small dino with textures of Ceratosaurus to have this dino?

I haven't test yet Siege Units.
