Similar name

I was wondering if players on one map can have same names, like for example I want to make on one map two player with the name _PN_SP_03_AMAZONS and _PN_SP_03_AMAZON_ISLAND? Is this even possible?

Same translated name could have different code name, like a player named “Barbarian 1”, could have code name like _PN_SP_04_PLAYER_01 and _PN_SP_01_BARBARIAN. Do you know what I mean?

yes ofc, and i said you can use same translated name for different player slots
you may also use same code name for slots, but i'm not sure, what (possible) problems would it cause

Yeah the problems, that what about I was talking. I know that I can use same translated names, because they have different names. I was asking if I use same code names in one map, because amazons translated names was only at one map and they are all already used, so that’s the problem.

I figured out, that name could be settled in custom level data just by texting right in the file, like it was done in boosterpack mission, single_b42. One problem I guess will be, that it will be all on one language.

I ve checked the code name through custom_level_data.txt. Two HQ was in my map with same code name, and they were displaying fine. Seems game have no bother about it. Was tested in skirmish, should be checked in multiplayer two.
