Hi
I am a French Modder which begins on Paraworld.
I would like to know how to create a new unit and integrate it In-game ?
I started with a Triceratops Transporter :
*Note: I am using Edz Level Editor because the Booster Pack will not work with my game and it's the same for the mod forum

You have already tried the Win7 Patch? You can find it in the Windows 7 Topic in the Techcenter / Technical Support forum on this site. It should help with your problem.

Maybe someone could post more than one word?
With my limited knowledge I can only add that the techtree can be edited with the map editor (SDK) from the Boosterpack too

Can unit modding really be done with only the techtree? I thought it needs modifying the paraworld files in the \script subfolder of the game as well, doesnt it?

It depends if you are using server side scripting to change specific unit behaviour. You need at add IdleAnims in some file and other stuff, but in the techtree you can add a new unit based on an existing CLASS, like Character, Animal or Building (etc). Making new classes requires scripting.
Also, you need to add an entry for the unit in one of the classes txts (/Scripts/Server/classes/) so the game knows what kind of class your unit is, this is also what determines where your object type will show up in the SDK.

icon, description and sounds shall be added as well
but even the techtree work is complex (the production entry, the part for different levels, weapons section, etc.)

Oh, and having the AI actually USE your new unit needs AI-side scripting.

you can also edit the Techtree with windows notepad
