Great.

That's this weird 'Vista bug'. Maybe the Program Files folder is moved to another spot on the drive or write-protected, who knows :?

Now you could add the boosterpack

Done, and it works with the booster. But after I quit I find it goes into a black screen with the paraworld cursor, and the paraworld music in the background, like the paraworld menu, I always have to force close it.

That is completely normal. ;) If you hear the PW music, press ALT+F4.

@ Tri
Yep, Program Files is write-protected because of viruses.

Another tip:

- to prevent a crash use windowed mode for the editor (Main Menu -> Options)
- Not sure but I think the parameter is -windowed. Try to change the editor's shorcut. There should also be a command to set resolutions at game start

Requirements:

- PW's / Editor's resolution set lower than your desktop's: e.g. 1152x864 for 1280x1024 desktops

- The game does not support modes lower than 1024

Try it, hope it helps

Although in vista I cannot find any parameter to change it to windowed mode, I have found (by acciendent ) that in vista you can change in and out of windowed mode on both paraworld and the map editor with Alt+Return(Enter).

And PW's / Editor's resolution is set lower than the desktop.

I have found with the mapeditor when I zoom out it gets very foggy, is this normal, if so is there any way round this?

It is normal. ;)

And programs can usually been set to Fullscreen by Alt+ENTER.
