ParaWorld Crash on Vista

Hello I am new to this site. Originally I was Godziboy1993 on Myskulls.com but since the site is now a complete ghost town I decided to join here.

I haven't played ParaWorld for a few months (Since May actually) and now I want to play it. But for some odd reason when I click play this message pops up:

For extra information I run on a Windows Vista (Basic) Computer. I have had no problems with the game in the past running on it. I have uninstalled a few programs but those haven't affected the game what-so-ever.

Hey, Godzillafan, good to see more Paraworld-Player on the World. Look at our Projekts like SEASMOD or visit the Tavern^^.

I say Tric he should look at your Problem (or AyCe) (if he does not at his one^^^)

Try to install the Boosterpack, that should remove the problem.

Wait... there's a booster pack now? I've been off this game for that long?! Damn lol. Alrighty then.

I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the game it's still not working. Let reinstall it then install the booster pack. I'll get back to you guys asap. Thanks for the help. Hopefully it will work.

Did you turn off virus scanners and firewall before you installed PW? Tages updated already?

It said ParaWorld needs access to the internet and asked to disable firewall for it and I clicked yes.

Right when it's done installing (Before it says "Create Desktop shortcut?")
It says ParaWorld has stopped working.

Installing the Booster Pack now.

EDIT: Boosterpack installed, files overwritten. Everything is all set...

AND IT'S STILL NOT WORKING!

I'm not sure what the hell is wrong with this damn game now. I have my own method of fixing a computer, and it involves a sledgehammer

Try this:

Go to the Download-Boosterpack subsection. There you will find a thread with newest copy protection driver. Install it. Turn off all virus scanners and firewalls while doing this!
